What is the New Revelation?

The New Revelation is the finest and most profound literature that humanity has ever received. It gives an entirely new, divine explanation and extension of the Bible and the Sacred Scriptures of the world. It is information which has a most powerful bearing on the great religions and sciences of the world. This information is not restricted by the limitation of the human mind; it goes far beyond it – indeed, it is cosmic and celestial in nature. The New Revelation is comprised of over 40 volumes. Eleven of these volumes (The Great Gospel of John) are dedicated to the three years of Jesus’ ministry, which give a day-to-day detailed account of his activities and teachings.

Who is the author of the New Revelation?
The author is Jesus of Nazareth. This Jesus of Nazareth is not identical with the Christ of the traditional dogma. This dogma-free Christ, speaking through the “Inner Voice”, beginning with Jakob Lorber in 1840 and followed by Gottfried Mayerhofer in 1870, is still speaking today.
Since the establishment of the Christian Bible, traditional church institutions, in the broadest sense, permit neither God nor Jesus Christ to speak anew. In that light and teaching, the mouth of God (or Jesus Christ) is locked. But the mouth of the living Christ can never be shut. Indeed, He spoke again, authorizing the text of the New Revelation books, which represent the Direct Word of God, unveiling all cosmic truth as in contrast to the Bible, the Indirect Word of God, which contains only part of the cosmic truth in veiled form. Therefore, it was left over to the fallible mind of man to figure out the meaning of the Bible text. Now, through Jesus Christ himself, the Bible and other Sacred Scriptures of the world are revealed.
“These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but shall shew you plainly of the Father” [John 16:25]
The Divine Providence has seen to it that a few centuries before the beginning of this new era, an all-surpassing divinely-revealed knowledge was given to humanity by Lorber in all branches of science (physics, chemistry, biochemistry, medicine, anatomy, mathematics, astronomy, and others – read more here), all which make religion science and science religion.
“But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” [John 14:26]
The New Revelation through Jakob Lorber and his successors enriches immensely our inner life by consistently teaching that love is the primordial nature of the Godhead and the very foundation of all creational happenings. This truly basic theme is the key to the deepest understanding of life.
“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.” [Joel 2:28-29]
Excerpt from Gottfried Mayerhofer’s The Lord’s Sermons, 26th Sermon (revelation received March 24, 1872):
“Do you know why I, Myself, communicate to you My will through My servants and scribes?
“The reason why My direct messages have been flowing more abundantly during the past few years than they did in former times and why I am giving you so much bread from the heavens, as has not happened since I lived on earth, is the fact that the time is now approaching when the world will reach its culmination in erring and deviation from My original creational purpose. Lest all men be lost, I have ordained – and this is required for My Second Coming – that from now on My Word and teaching shall be given to a few in an unadulterated form, as I once gave it to My disciples, not veiled as in the prophets, but as clear and comprehensible as My disciples once taught it to the people.
“In those days the spreading of My teaching was more difficult, but today, through the invention of the art of printing, the spreading of My teaching is by far easier, so that the brilliance of My eternal light of love and grace can be carried to wherever the darkness of the worldly power threatens to assert itself.
“Now I will open the eyes of the unbelievers and explain to the literalists the true meaning of My Bible, so that nobody can use the excuse that he had not known the truth and could blame me while he alone is to blame”.
